Maurice Gallegos

If you have, or can develop, more than one talent, you will optimize your opportunities to succeed," explains Maurice Gallegos, CEO and President of Gallco Enterprises.  For 15 years, that philosophy has served him well. Honing his songwriting and production skills, Mr. Gallegos worked his way up the music business achieving success with his remix of Des'ree's (Sony) "You Gotta Be" which was certified Gold.

He then won a Grammy for mixing Ruben Blades' 1996 album, "La Rosa De Los Vientos."  Through strategic planning and development, Mr. Gallegos broke into television and film.  He worked on the soundtrack for "The Ref" (Tri-Star Pictures), a comedy featuring Dennis Leary and Kevin Spacey, as well as many independent films. Mr. Gallegos eventually went on to produce music videos as well as television commercials for Fortune 500 companies such as Procter and Gamble, McDonalds, and Levi's.

He won a CLIO Award (the advertising industry's highest honor) for producing a Coca Cola spot watched by approximately 1 billion people during the World Cup.  Presently, alternative Hip Hop group, The Arsonists (Matador/Capitol) are recording their album at Mr. Gallegos' studios, while he is busy producing their music videos.  Continuing his philosophy of multi-service enterprise, Mr. Gallegos is developing Urbandigital.com, a new portal specializing in music (Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, etc.), fashion, events, news and free email.
