Ariel Hyatt |
Ariel Hyatt is The President and founder
of Ariel Publicity, Artist Relations, and Cyber Promotions, a
full service, national public relations and marketing company
that is based in New York City. |
For the past 5 years she has worked closely
for a diverse family of artists. Her company has publicized,
promoted and booked hundreds of artists and music companies and
serves as the publicity director to the Fox Theatre in Boulder,
Colorado, which hosts live music seven nights a week. |
A strong proponent for independent musicians,
Ms. Hyatt is in big demand as an industry speaker at many of
the major music conferences and festivals. In addition to being
a past speaker at The Circle, she has also appeared on panels
at SXSW (Austin), NEMO (Boston), The Philadelphia Music Conference
(PMC), EATM (Las Vegas), The Independent Music Festival (Hoboken)
and at The Indie Music Forum (San Francisco and Philadelphia). |
Ariel Hyatt began her career in 1993 as
the associate producer of the morning show on WNEW-FM in New
York City. She then went on to work as an assistant at
KSA, the exclusive publicists for Sting, Peter Gabriel, Lenny
Kravitz, Tina Turner and Bob Dylan. At nights,
Ms. Hyatt managed a record store where her publicity and major
label contacts propelled it to "Best CD Store" by New
York Magazine. |
In 1994, she became Assistant to the General
Manager at What Are Records? (W.A.R.?), an indie label that handles
acts like The Samples and Maceo Parker and she re-located with
them to Boulder. Ms. Hyatt then became Vice President and
Director of Publicity for Small Axe Concerts, an independent
concert promoter and management company promoting club shows
(Spearhead, Barenaked Ladies), stadium tours (The Red Hot Chili
Peppers, 311), and summer festivals (Reggae on the Rocks, The
American Music Festival). |
In 1996, Ariel Publicity Artist Relations
and Booking was established in Boulder, Colorado, with a second
office opening in New York City in 1998. Ms. Hyatt
and her staff offer full service guerrilla marketing, on-line
promotions, CD release/press campaigns (with and without a tour),
sponsorships, marketing, virtual press kits, and many other services. |
