Recording Industry Sourcebook

The Recording Sourcebook is divided into twelve different sections.  Major label distribution, Artist management, and Public Relations and Publicity are just a few topics this book elaborates on.
There are also specific sections for Eastern U.S. contacts as well as Western U.S., Central U.S. and International music contacts. This sourcebook is useful to any artist regardless of where they reside.  Dispersed through out the Sourcebook are ads for rehearsal studios, recording studios and educational institutions.
Although this book gives contact information with mail and e-mail addresses, phone numbers and websites, it does not dictate the steps to take as a budding artist. It is merely a compilation of useful information.  It is left up to the artist to decide how the information would be advantageous to his or her career.
The book, however, now includes a Win/Mac CD-Rom of all listings, making it much easier for the computer savvy artist to work with the voluminous contacts furnished by the Sourcebook.
